8:27 a.m. Wednesday - A car driven by Michele Pyle, 31, of Chicora struck a utility pole along East Cunningham Street. Pyle, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken with unknown injuries to Butler Memorial Hospital.
3:29 p.m. Wednesday - A car driven by Andrea McCullough, 25, of Eau Claire struck an embankment and flipped onto its roof on Route 138 in Washington Township.1:50 a.m. Wednesday - Laura Messer, 35, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 1015 in Donegal Township.6:15 p.m. Monday - Two car wash vending machines were found along Evans Road in Center Township. The owner can claim the property by calling the barracks at 724-284-8100.Monday - A picnic bench was taken between Friday and Monday from State Farm Insurance at the Clearview Mall in Center Township.
July 6 - A Kittanning couple was arrested for allegedly assaulting one another during a domestic dispute at Pony Farm and Bunker Hill roads in North Buffalo Township, Armstrong County. Charged with simple assault were Rebecca Lynn Williams, 28; and Keith Eugene Williams, no age given.
2:18 a.m. Wednesday - Troopers seized a large stash of counterfeit merchandise in a vehicle following a traffic stop on Interstate 80 in Wolf Creek Township.Among the bogus wares were purses, jerseys, shoes, jeans, shirts and jewelry containing the trade names of numerous companies. A pair of Indianapolis, Ind., men face trademark counterfeiting charges in the case.
