Earl and Ginny Sadlon of Butler celebrated 60 years of marriage with a reception at Trinity Lutheran Church, followed by a family dinner at Clifford's Restaurant.

The former Virginia Bartsch married Sadlon on June 9, 1945, at First United Methodist Church in Butler.

They have two children, Errol Sadlon of Charleston, W.Va., and Sharon Kauffman of Easton. They also have three grandsons.

Sadlon is retired from Alltel, where he worked as a public and community relations coordinator.

Mrs. Sadlon is retired from the Butler County Helpline, where she worked as a volunteer coordinator.

Both are members of Trinity Lutheran Church, where Sadlon serves on the property committee and Mrs. Sadlon has served as a volunteer for more than 14 years.
