Josephine Cornibe of the Lowrie House in Butler Township, formerly of Butler, celebrated her 90th birthday with a surprise family luncheon at the home of her son and a surprise picnic the following day at Connoquenessing Park.

The former Josephine Grecco was born June 20, 1915, in Shawmut. She married Paul Cornibe Sr. on June 5, 1935. He is deceased.

She has two sons, Paul Cornibe Jr. and David Cornibe, both of Butler. She also has eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Cornibe is a former employee of the Spaide Shirt Factory and the Sunnyview Home Food Service Department.

She is a member of the 55 and Alive Club at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.
