Harold and Devona Cooper of Zelienople celebrated 65 years of marriage with a family dinner at the Water Hole.

The former Devona Haberman married Cooper on March 28, 1940, at the bride's home.

They have four children, Tony Cooper and Ann McCormick, both of Zelienople; and Lyda Posvar of Simi Valley, Calif.; and Rebecca Saunders of Chula Vista, Calif.

They also have eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Cooper is a retired autobody paint salesman.

Mrs. Cooper is a homemaker.

The couple belongs to English Evangelical Lutheran Church in Zelienople.
