James and Olive Boyce of Valencia celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner at the Olive Garden in Cranberry Township.

The former Olive Bartello married Boyce on July 2, 1955, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Mars.

They have three children, Mark Boyce of Butler; Russell Boyce of Hagerstown, Md.; and Pamela Molinaro of Valencia. They also have four grandchildren.

Boyce is retired from North Pittsburgh Telephone, where he worked as a cable splicer.

Mrs. Boyce is a homemaker.

The couple belongs to the Valencia Presbyterian Church.
