GRADUATES

Jessica Dandoy graduated recently with a bachelor of science degree in communications and public relations from Clarion (Pa.) University.While at Clarion, she received a Reinhardt Award for Outstanding Student Leader, was on the dean's list throughout her freshman through senior years, was president of the National Communications Association Student Club and received a James Canelos Communication Scholarship.She belonged to the Zeta Phi Eta National Honors Fraternity in Communications, the Phi Kappa Phi Honors Society and the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society.She is currently an intern at the Pittsburgh Zoo and is employed in the marketing department for Armstrong Companies.Jessica is a 2001 Butler High School graduate and the daughter of Bob and Julie Dandoy of Butler.

<b>Crystal Schnur</B> graduated summa cum laude May 19 with a biology degree from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.She received the Alumni Association Award for the highest grade-point average in the curriculum.She is a member of the Alpha Chi National Scholarship Society.Crystal is the daughter of Michael and Donna Schnur of Butler.<br></br><br></br>

<b>Renae Cashmere</B> graduated summa cum laude recently with a bachelor of science degree in communication sciences and disorders from Clarion University.While at Clarion, she was president of Clarion Dance Marathon and a member of the National Student Speech Language and Hearing Association, Phi Eta Sigma, Phi Kappa Phi and Kappa Delta Pi.She achieved the dean's list every semester while at school.Renae will pursue a master's degree at Clarion (Pa.) University, where she has been granted a graduate assistantship in the communication science and disorders department.She is the daughter of Ed and Jackie Cashmere of Fenelton.<br></br><br></br>

<b>Kara Geibel</b> graduated in May with bachelor of science degrees in biology and health science from Duquesne University.She will continue her studies at Duquesne, working toward a doctoral degree in physical therapy.Geibel is the daughter of Dennis and Sandy Geibel of Chicora.<br></br><br></br><br></br>

<b>Ryan Love</b> graduated summa cum laude recently with a bachelor's degree in English and a minor in secondary education from Alfred University.He was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi, earned the Fred W. Gertz Award for Writing and was treasurer of the student managed investment fund. He also belonged to the college bowl team and was an audio-visual writing center tutor.Love has accepted a position teaching English at Haverling High School in Bath, N.Y.The 2001 Butler High School graduate is the son of Charlie and Karen Love of Butler.<br></br><br></br><br></br>

<b>Jenna Bayer</b> graduated magna cum laude recently with a bachelor's degree in sports and exercise science from Gannon University.Bayer was a member of the physical therapy club, Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society and the Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority.She will now pursue a doctoral degree in physical therapy at the University of Pittsburgh.A 2001 graduate of Butler High School, Bayer is the daughter of Tom and Mary Bayer of Butler.<br></br><br></br><br></br>

<b>Nicolette Saeler</b> graduated summa cum laude recently with a bachelor's degree in graphic design and an American Humanics certificate of nonprofit leadership from Youngstown State University.Saeler was a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honors Society.She was named on the dean's list every semester and was awarded a Florence Beecher Scholarship, a departmental scholarship, the Phil Chan Identity Systems Award and the Casimer and Walsius Memorial Award in Printmaking.She works at Keygrafix Signs in Butler.The 2001 Butler High School graduate is the daughter of Raymond and Patricia Saeler of Chicora.<br></br><br></br><br></br>

<b>Eric Bella</b> earned a doctoral degree in recently from the State University of New York College of Optometry.A 1996 graduate of Butler High School, Bella earned a bachelor's degree in psychology in 2000 from Duquesne University.He has accepted a position at Lawrence County Eye Associates in New Castle.<br></br><br></br>

<b>Juliana Cohen</b> graduated May 22 with a bachelor's degree in marketing and management from Chatham College.She is a graduate of Seneca Valley High School and the daughter of Jack Cohen of Cranberry Township.<br></br>

<b>Ashleigh Deemer</b> graduated May 22 with a bachelor's degree in environmental studies and a minor in botany from Chathan College.She is the daughter of Ronald and Cindy Deemer of Cranberry Township and a graduate of Seneca Valley High School.
