Weyman 64th anniversary
Edward and Saraellen Weyman of Zelienople celebrated 64 years of marriage with a family picnic Monday at the home of her daughter in Harmony.
The former Saraellen Griffin married Weyman on July 5, 1941, at the parsonage of Grace Lutheran Church in Rochester.
They have three children, Gary Weyman of North Hills, retired Lt. Col. James Weyman of Honolulu and Sue Hamilton of Harmony.
They also have nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Weyman is retired from J and L Steel in Aliquippa, where he worked in the tin mill department. He is a member of the Harmony Lodge 429, the American Legion and the AARP.
Mrs. Weyman is a homemaker. She enjoys crafts and dressmaking. She is a donor for the Friends of the Zelienople Library and a member of the AARP and the Order of the Easter Star chapter 485.
The couple belongs to St. Peter's Reformed Church in Zelienople, where Weyman has served as an elder and deacon and both participate in the Fidelity Sunday school class.
