7:59 p.m. Saturday - Chris Edwards, 25, of Fairview Township was allegedly found with suspected cocaine at the City Building parking lot.Police said Edwards was arrested on a warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia and, when searched, was found with a baggie containing suspected cocaine. He was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and placed in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bond.
11:22 p.m. Sunday - Brian Dille, no age given, of Cecil, Washington County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after he was stopped driving an all-terrain vehicle on Route 422 in Franklin Township.11:13 p.m. Sunday - Daniel Lynn Snow, 32, of Claysville, Washington County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after he was stopped driving an all-terrain vehicle on Dick Road near Route 422 in Franklin Township.7:45 p.m. Saturday - A motorcycle driven by Thomas Zeleski Jr., 39, of Karns City crashed over an embankment on Hindman Road in Concord Township. Zeleski suffered minor injuries. Police did not immediately report if he was wearing a helmet.Saturday - An undisclosed amount of money and compact discs were taken between 1 and 1:13 p.m. from a car at the Clearview Mall parking lot in Center Township. Mary Reefer of Butler owns the stolen property.Saturday - A welder, nail gun and cable transit were taken between 4 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday from a garage in a burglary at the Smith Road home of Robert Knauer in Connoquenessing Township.2:26 a.m. Friday - Douglas Leslie, 43, of Valencia was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 8 in Middlesex Township.Thursday - Three cases of soda and two deer antler mounts were taken between 8 p.m. Wednesday and 3 p.m. Thursday in a burglary at the Slippery Rock Sportsmen's Club in Slippery Rock Township.June 27 - A small amount of money was taken in a burglary June 26 or 27 at K's Corner Ice Cream Shop on Bonniebrook Road in Summit Township.June 26 - Three Chevrolet 350 transmissions were taken from a field on Neupert Road in Jefferson Township. The theft occurred between June 20 and 26.11:40 a.m. June 22 - An unidentified vehicle struck a pickup at Route 422 and Mitchell Hill Road in Summit Township and did not stop following the crash. John Stitt, 70, of Butler was driving the pickup.
5:44 p.m. Friday - Cars driven by Ralph Baklarz, 76, of Aliquippa, Beaver County, and Breanne Sellers, 19, of Emlenton collided on Route 208 and Bell Road in Scrubgrass Township, Venango County.1:40 p.m. Friday - Francis Hermanson, 49, of Emlenton was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of prescription drugs after his car struck another car on the Emlenton Bridge on Route 208 on Emlenton.Wninona Ace, no age given, of Foxburg, Armstrong County, was driving the other car.Police said Hermanson was found with a switchblade knife following the crash and faces an additional charges of carrying prohibited offensive weapons.
1:55 a.m. Sunday - Heather Craig, 27, of Chicora was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Pine Hill Road in West Kittanning, Armstrong County.Sunday - A wallet was taken overnight from car at the Meadow Street home of Anna Roudybush on Worthington, Armstrong County.4:35 p.m. Saturday - Jon Henry Knarr, 40, was arrested on drug-related charges after police served a search warrant at his Gairin Street home in Worthington, Armstrong County.Knarr was arraigned on charges of possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, and possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. He is being held in the Armstrong County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bond.2:13 a.m. Saturday - A 30-year-old Kittanning woman, whom police did not identify, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 28 in Buffalo Township, Butler County.1:45 a.m. Saturday - Jeffery Fafata, 26, of Pittsburgh was arrested for driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop on Route 28 in Buffalo Township, Butler County. Police said Fafata was charged as a habitual offender, and noted he had four prior charges for driving with a suspended license, when stopped.1:36 a.m. Saturday - Stephen Grada, 37, of Adrian was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 28 in Buffalo Township, Butler County.1:07 a.m. Saturday - a 25-year-old Pittsburgh man, whom police did not identify, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 28 in Buffalo Township, Butler County.12:35 a.m. Saturday - A man, woman and two boys, all of Sarver, face drug-related charges after their vehicle was stopped during a sobriety checkpoint on Route 28 in Buffalo Township, Butler County.A search of the vehicle uncovered suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Police did not identity the suspects - a 20-year-old man, an 18-year-old woman and two 16-year-old boys.Saturday - A propane gas grill and an electric motor scooter were taken from the porch at the Gairin Street home of Cynthia Boyd in Worthington. Then theft occurred between 7 and 7:20 p.m.11:50 p.m. Friday - Terry Kasely, 46, of Sarver was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence near the intersection of Routes 356 and 229 in Buffalo Township, Butler County.11:40 a.m. Thursday - An unidentified silver car struck a utility pole on Route 156 across from South Bend Limestone in South Bend Township, Armstrong County, and did not stop following the crash.5:40 p.m. Wednesday - An unidentified dark colored, full-sized pickup truck struck a car on Route 28 in South Buffalo Township, Armstrong County and did not stop following the crash. Robert Strane, 68, of Pittsburgh was driving the car.
12:30 a.m. Sunday - Cars driven by Wootack Hwang, 33, of Troy, N.Y., and John Barton, 40, of Grove City collided at Routes 19 and 208 in Springfield Township, Mercer County.Hwang and two passengers in his car, both from New Jersey, as well as a passenger in Barton's car, a North Carolina man, were treated for minor injuries at United Community Hospital in Grove City. Hwang was cited for a stop sign violation in the crash.10:10 p.m. Saturday - Cars driven by Megan Losasso, 18, and Donald Hunter, 54, both of Grove City collided at North Liberty and Amsterdam roads in Liberty Township, Mercer County. Losasso, who was wearing a seat belt, was treated for minor injuries at United Community Hospital. She was cited for a stop sign violation.
