Leonard Palovcik, 73, of Sarver died Wednesday at Alle-Kiski Medical Center, Natrona Heights.

Born Oct. 5, 1931, in Creighton, Allegheny County, he was the son of George and Anna Palovcik.

He was a steelworker at Allegheny Ludlum in Brackenridge for 45 years.

Mr. Palovcik was a member of the Brackenridge American Legion, the Natrona American Legion, the Natrona Heights VFW and the Sarver Vets.

Surviving are his wife, Beverly Wick-Skillen Palovcik, whom he married Oct. 8, 1992; a daughter, Susan Bucher of Matthews, N.C.; a son, Kenneth Palovcik of Creighton; a brother, Ray Palovcik of New Kensington; and two grandchildren.

A sister, a brother and three sons preceded him in death.

<B>PALOVCIK</B> - Friends of Leonard Palovcik, who died Wednesday, June 1, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St. Saxonburg. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Wesley Mash officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park, Butler Township.
