Edward M. Schroeder, 50, of Middlesex Township died of cancer Tuesday at his home.

Born Sept. 28, 1954, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Edward M. and Jane E. Devakos Schroeder.

He was a member of the Glade Run United Presbyterian Church, the West View Sportsman's Club and the Wild Turkey Federation.

Mr. Schroeder enjoyed the outdoors and especially hunting.

Surviving are his wife, Sharon A. Smith Schroeder, whom he married Jan. 24, 1976; a daughter, Jessica A. Schroeder of Middlesex Township; a sister, Belinda M. Spreng of Middlesex Township; and three nephews.

SCHROEDER - Friends of Edward M. Schroeder, who died Tuesday, May 31, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME, 5864 Heckert Road, Richland Township. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Glade Run United Presbyterian Church, Middlesex Township, with the Rev. Greg Wiest officiating.
