K. Burnett and Ann Rape of Zelienople will celebrate 65 years of marriage July 24 with a family dinner at their daughter's summer home in East Brady.

The former Ann Borland married Rape on June 29, 1940, at St. Peter's Reformed Church in Zelienople.

They have three children, Darlene Wogan of Connoquenessing; Kenneth Rape of Columbus, Ind.; and Sharyn McMaster of Zelienople.

They also have seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Rape is retired from the shipping department of Aetna Standard in Ellwood City where he worked as a traffic manager.

Mrs. Rape, a homemaker, worked in shoe sales.

The couple belongs to St. Peter's, where Rape served as a Sunday school superintendent and elder.
