Braden and Geraldine Kaylor of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage Saturday with a surprise friend and family celebration at their daughter's home in Butler.

The former Geraldine Manny married Braden Kaylor on June 14, 1955, at Calvary Presbyterian Church in Butler.

They have two children, Debra Young and Braden "J.R." Kaylor, both of Butler.

They also have five grandchildren.

Mr. Kaylor is retired from Penn-Dixie Cement.

Mrs. Kaylor is a homemaker. She belongs to Butler Wesleyan Methodist Church.
