An Aug. 19 wedding is being planned by Kelly Scott and Benjamin Oesterling, both of Butler.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Richard and Kimberly Scott of Butler. The prospective bridegroom is the son of Gordon and Nancy Oesterling of Butler.

The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Butler High School and a 2005 graduate of Butler County Community College, where she received a degree in nursing. She works at Harmarville Rehabilitation Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Her fiancé was a home-schooled student and received his high school diploma in 2003. He is currently attending Pensacola Christian College and working in construction.
