Lee and Audrey Bable recently marked 50 years of marriage. A celebration will be held at a later date.

The former Audrey Pflugh married Bable on May 24, 1955 at Grace Lutheran Church in Butler.

They have two children, Patricia Harmon of Butler and Randall Bable of Kauffman, Texas.

They also have five grandchildren.

Bable retired from Armco Steel in 1994 after 34 years. He worked in melt shop maintenance. He enjoys camping and traveling.

Mrs. Bable retired from Magnetics in 1994 after 21 years.

The couple belongs to Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church.
