11:30 a.m. Thursday - Steve Tressly, 44, of Butler reported the theft of $55 in cash and a $1,200 gold wedding band from his car, which was parked outside his residence at 433 North Chestnut St., overnight.
8:20 a.m. Thursday - A vehicle driven by Theresa Clemets-Cirelli, 49, of Pittsburgh collided with a vehicle driven by Justin Schultz, 20, of Butler on Belmont Road. Clemets-Cirelli had minor injuries and was taken by a private vehicle to Butler Memorial Hospital, where she was treated and released. Schultz was charged with leaving the scene of an accident with injuries and numerous vehicle code violations. Clemets-Cirelli was charged with driving too fast for conditions on a wet road. Butler Ambulance and the Mercer Road Volunteer Fire Company assisted at the scene.
7:30 a.m. Monday - North Pittsburgh Drywall of Slippery Rock Township reported a theft at its 54 Weathervain Hill Road business occurred sometime between June 11 and 13. An 8-foot metal scaffold was taken from the site. No estimate was available this morning.6:50 p.m. June 3 - An aerosol spray-paint can was used to write graffiti on a stainless steel tanker trailer and a steel culvert belonging to Venango Township and the state Department of Transportation. A 15-year-old accused in the case was cited for criminal mischief, a summary offense.6:35 p.m. Thursday - A SUV driven by Robert Cunic, no age given, of Pittsburgh collided with a Chevy van driven by Shawn McManus, no age given, of Emsworth when McManus came to a stop on I-79 northbound due to stopped traffic. Police said Cunic failed to stop in time and hit the back of McManus' vehicle. Neither McManus nor Cunic were injured. A passenger in McManus' car, Joyce McManus, no age given, of Emsworth, was not injured. No charges were listed in the report.4:40 p.m. Thursday - A Jeep Liberty driven by Joseph Greenberg, no age given, of Venetia suffered severe damage when Greenberg lost control of his vehicle on I-79 northbound in Jackson Township and hit a guide rail before going down an embankment. Greenberg, who was wearing a seatbelt, was injured and taken by Harmony EMS to Allegheny General Hospital. A condition report was not immediately available.12:40 a.m. Thursday - A two-vehicle crash on State Route 422 near I-79 in Muddy Creek Township resulted in minor injuries to one of the drivers. Police said a tractor trailer driven by Timothy Cubbon, 24, of Seneca was traveling west on Route 422 when he failed to stop for a car driven by 76-year-old Walter Stalma, who was attempting to make a left-hand turn onto I-79. Stalma suffered minor injuries in the crash and his car had severe damage. Cubbon was cited for a summary violation.2:15 a.m. Friday - The driver was not injured in a one-vehicle crash on Barron Road near State Route 108 in Worth Township. Police said a Jeep SUV driven by Ronald Emeigh, 72, of Franklin went out of control on the wet road. Emeigh's vehicle struck a tree and then rolled onto its side. He was wearing a seatbelt, police said.11:45 a.m. Friday - A car driven by Tanna Albright, 19, of Prospect was traveling north on Bearcreek Road in Prospect when it went off the east berm and hit a guard rail. Although the car was severely damaged, Albright wasn't injured. She was wearing a seat belt.11:05 a.m. Friday - A vehicle driven by Darlene Dietrich, 18, of Butler collided with a vehicle driven by Renee Vincik, 41, of Butler on Route 356 at the Simmon Drive intersection in Jefferson Township. Dietrich was flown via helicopter to Allegheny General Hospital. Vincik and her passenger, Nicole Vincik, 6, were taken by Saxonburg EMS to Passavant Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. All three people were wearing seat belts.5:28 a.m. Sunday - A car driven by Milan Pavel Cincar, 24, struck a deer after it jumped onto Interstate 79 in Jackson Township. Cincar, who was wearing a seat belt, wasn't injured.7:30 p.m. Friday - Vehicles driven by Joseph Wayne, 21, of Sarver and Tammy Johns of Valencia collided at the intersection of Westminster and Miller roads. Charges are pending against Wayne.3:35 a.m. June 11 - Heather L. Bowser, 23, of Corsica was charged with driving under the influence after being stopped for a traffic violation on Route 268 in Bruin.7:42 p.m. Thursday - Police found a green mailbox with the number 255 on it on Cherry Road in Fairview Township. Anyone with information on the mailbox should call police at 724-284-8100.
