Davison 65th anniversary
Alton and Jean Davison of Zelienople will celebrate 65 years of marriage with a family dinner at the Butler Country Club.
The former Eleanor "Jean" Mickley married Davison on June 19, 1940, at the home of the bride.
They have two sons, James Davison of Harmony and Larry Davison of Kirkwood, Mo.
They also have four grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
Davison retired after 14 years at Dambach
Lumber
where he worked as a manager. He also worked as a wholesale building and supply salesman for 30 years. An avid sports fan, he managed Little League and Colt Baseball and served as an umpire.
Mrs. Davison is a homemaker. She enjoys crafts and quilting.
The couple belongs to St. Peter's Reformed Church in Zelienople, where Davison served as an elder and Sunday school superintendent and Mrs. Davison served as a Sunday school teacher and pianist.
