Tyler and Amelia Barron of East Butler celebrated 60 years of marriage with recently.

The former Amelia Kabel married Barron on June 2, 1945 at St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

They have four children, Mary Wimer of Butler; William Barron of Wall, N.J.; John Barron of Butler Township; and Tom Barron of Chicora.

They also have eight grandchildren and a step-grandchild.

Barron is retired from Spang and Company. He is a member of the East Butler Fire Hall.

Mrs. Barron is a homemaker and Avon salesperson.

The couple belongs to the East Butler Presbyterian Church.
