Chester Kohlmeyer
Chester Bredin Kohlmeyer, 87, of Butler, died at 1:50 a.m. Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born May 24, 1917, in Wiskerville, he was the son of Daisy Sillwagon and Claude Kohlmeyer.
He owned and operated a car repair shop in Muddy Creek for years and was a garage foreman for PennDOT.
He was Protestant.
Mr. Kohlmeyer is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Dolores Pflugh of Massillon, Ohio, and Mrs. Charles Karen Eshenbaugh of West Sunbury; a son and his wife, Michael and Colette Kohlmeyer of Butler; seven grandchildren, Aubrie, Clay and Garth Kohlmeyer, Scott and Kevin Eshenbaugh, Steven Pflugh and Amy Nagy; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Kohlmeyer, who died April 10, 2000, one son, two sisters and two brothers.
KOHLMEYER - Friends of Chester Bredin Kohlmeyer, who died Tuesday, May 10, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the WILLIAM F. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Wayne Bell, of the West Sunbury United Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in the West Sunbury Union Cemetery.
