A Sept. 2 wedding is being planned by Mars residents Melissa Bailey and Shaun Painter.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Bruce and Jan Bailey of Cranberry Township. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Gary Painter of Aliquippa and Eleanor Painter of Harmony.

The bride-elect is a 1994 graduate of Princeton High School and a 2002 graduate of Robert Morris University. She works as a pharmaceutical sales representative at Wyeth-Ayerst in Cranberry Township.

Her fiancé graduated in 1985 from Seneca Valley High School. He works as a sales trainer with Health-Mor in Cleveland.
