Wednesday - Michael Salas reported someone overnight took the Pennsylvania license plate FYC3060 off a vehicle at his West North Street home.

12:12 p.m. Wednesday - A car driven by Richard Bixler, 58, of Harrisville and a sport utility vehicle driven by Tracy Futcher, 45, of Butler collided at Routes 422 and 8013 in Worth Township. Bixler, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken with moderate injuries to Butler Memorial Hospital.

2:20 p.m. Monday - Two people were slightly injured in a crash of three semi trucks and three cars on the Interstate 80 Emlenton Bridge in Richland Township, Clarion County.The pileup, which closed the highway for about two hours, began when a car driven by Julia Schimp, 25, of Hawthorn, Clarion County, struck the center barrier on the bridge and stalled in the left lane.Several vehicles in both lanes slowed as they neared the disabled car; however, a Peterbilt truck driven by Richard Williams, 53, of Butler was unable to stop before hitting the rear of a car driven by Michael Pugliese, 18, of Elysburg, Northumberland County.The collision pushed Elysburg's vehicle into the rear of a car driven by Cindy Dedionisio, 27, of Erie and the side of an International truck. Williams' car, meanwhile, traveled forward and struck the rear of another tractor-trailer.Dedionisio and Jennifer Taylor, 20, of Sunbury, Northumberland County, a passenger in Pugliese's car, were the only persons injured in the crash. Both were wearing seat belts and they suffered only minor injuries.

19:30 a.m. Tuesday - An Ohio man wanted by federal marshals on vehicular homicide and endangering children charges in Ohio, was arrested at the Super 8 motel in Sugarcreek, Venango County.Johnny Mitchell, 34, of Youngstown was later taken to the Venango County Jail where he remains in lieu of $500,000 bond while awaiting extradition to Ohio.
