12:36 a.m. Tuesday - Cody Celestin, 47, of Butler was arrested for allegedly trying to force his way into a woman's East Locust Street apartment. Celestin is charged with attempted trespass, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
10:10 p.m. Tuesday - Police caught a boy who earlier escaped the Summit Academy and stole a mountain bike from a nearby home on Geibel Road in Summit Township. The owner can claim the bike by calling the barracks at 724-284-8100.1:20 p.m. Tuesday - A state Department of Transportation truck driven by Joseph Polenik, 47, of Clymer, Indiana County, and a pickup truck driven by Gary Brown, 57, of Butler collided on Route 8 in Center Township.12:01 a.m. Tuesday - Police said charges are pending against a 27-year-old Slippery Rock area man who crashed his car in Muddy Creek Township while being chased by a Lancaster Township police officer.Adam Hilliard lost control of his car on West Park Road just north of Old Perry Highway, struck an embankment, a wooden fence and tree. Police caught Hilliard moments later after he ran from the crash site.Tuesday - Someone between 9 p.m. Monday and 5:30 a.m. Tuesday slashed three tires on a pickup truck at the Iris Lane home of Chris Detrick in Brady Township.4:25 p.m. Sunday - A car driven by Jeanette Fleeger, 28, of Cabot struck the rear of a pickup truck driven by Roger Cameron, 49, of Sewickley, Allegheny County. The pickup rolled onto its side after the collision.Both drivers, who were wearing seat belts, suffered minor injuries. Fleeger was cited for following too close to another vehicle.
Sunday - A safe and an undisclosed amount of money were taken between 10:30 p.m. Saturday and 3:30 a.m. Sunday in a burglary at the home of Darryl Schiberl in Emlenton, Venango County.
Sunday - Several unidentified items were taken between Thursday and Sunday in a burglary at the Horseshoe Drive home of Harvey Kocher in South Buffalo Township, Armstrong County.
