Thomas J. Stockert

Thomas J. Stockert of Valencia died Thursday morning at UPMC Passavant Hospital, McCandless.

Born in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Josef and Marie Scharf Stockert. He was a retired mechanical draftsman for Woodings, Inc. in Mars, and he later worked for Industrial Equipment Fabricators Inc. in Ellwood City.

He was a member of the Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church in Glade Mills and was an avid woodworker and cabinetmaker.

Surviving are his wife, Donna Zoeller Stockert; two sons, Jeffrey T. and Daniel J. Stockert, both of West Sunbury; two grandsons, Nicholas and Joshua Stockert; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward J. and John Stockert.

STOCKERT - Friends of Thomas Stockert, who died Thursday, May 5, 2005, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave. Mars. A Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. Monday in Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church, Route 8, Glade Mills, with the Rev. Dan Maurer officiating. Burial will be in Glade Run Cemetery, Middlesex Twp.
