Frank and Betty Leonberg of Mars celebrated 50 years of marriage with a dinner for family and friends at Old Union Presbyterian Church in Mars.

The former Betty Gifford married Leonberg on June 2, 1955 at Old Union Presbyterian Church.

They have two daughters, Vicky Leonberg of Mars and Teresa Bark of Evans City.

They also have two grandsons.

Leonberg is retired from Flowline in New Castle.

Mrs. Leonberg works part time as a cashier at Target.

The couple belongs to Old Union Presbyterian Church, where Leonberg is a member of the Property Committee and Mrs. Leonberg is a Sunday school teacher and Women's Association member.
