3:51 a.m. Sunday - Adam Davis, 26, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence on North Main Street.12:44 a.m. Saturday - Christopher Whipkey, 18, was arrested for assaulting his 18-year-old girlfriend, Heaven Wonderling, at the couple's 13th Avenue home. Whipkey is charged with simple assault.10:15 p.m. Friday - Goldie Deal, 43, of Lyndora was arrested for driving under the influence after a patrol officer spotted her driving a sport utility vehicle without a driver's side tire. The tire, later found in Butler Township, apparently came off Deal's vehicle in a suspected hit-and-run crash that township police are investigating.

1:52 a.m. Sunday - Thomas Kidder Jr., 61, of Carnegie, Allegheny County was arrested for driving under the influence on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township.12:48 a.m. Sunday - Joel Mlenek, 28, of Pittsburgh was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Unionville Road and Route 8 in Center Township.2:44 p.m. Saturday - A pickup truck driven by Anthony Carben, 31, of Pittsburgh struck the rear of a car on Route 68 near Route 38 in Summit Township. Amy Bowser, 35, of Parker was driving the car.Police said Carben drove off after the crash and a short time later struck two newspaper vending boxes on Ifft Lane in Center Township. Police said Carben faces hit-and-run and other traffic charges.3:01 a.m. Saturday - Keith Black, 22, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Pinetract Road in Center Township.Saturday - Someone between Wednesday and Saturday took a portable DVD player valued at $270 from a sport utility vehicle at the Applewood Lane home of Janene Disanti in Slippery Rock Township.12:09 a.m. Friday - Becky Paulson, 26, of Sarver was arrested for driving under the influence on Winfield Road in Winfield Township.1:50 p.m. Wednesday - Someone smashed out a window of a vehicle at the True Value store on Grant Street in East Butler and stole a purse, owned by Marie Riccicardella of Oakland Township.

Sunday - Troopers issued 24 warnings to motorists for not wearing seat belts during a seat belt checkpoint detail between 10 p.m. Saturday and 3 a.m. Sunday in Rimersburg, Clarion County.Additionally, two motorists were arrested for driving under the influence. Ten other citations were also issued. Troopers stopped 76 vehicles during the detail.

12:25 a.m. Saturday - Eric Blaugher, 48, of Sarver was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 28 in Harrison Township, Allegheny County.
