An Aug. 6 wedding is being planned by Misty Claypoole of Worthington and Ryan Thurber of Springdale.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mervin and Sue Claypoole of Worthington. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Sam and Cindy Thurber of Springdale.

The bride-elect graduated in 2002 from Kittanning High School and in 2005 from Seton Hill University, where she majored in biology/chemistry education.

Her fiancé graduated in 1999 from Springdale High School and holds an electrical construction technology degree with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He is a union electrician with Local 5.
