CHRIST COMMUNITY U.M.The sacrament of Holy Communion will be celebrated during weekend worship services at the Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road. Recent graduates of high schools, colleges and trade schools will be recognized during weekend services.Members interested in participating in a summer, small-group Bible study are to meet at 5:45 p.m. Sunday at the church or to contact Mary Ann Hiser.Health Kit toiletry items may be taken to the church during the next several weeks. Monetary donations are also being accepted.Youth summer Bible study begins Tuesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the church.Youth group members are still accepting donations for the rummage sale to be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

COVENANT PRESBYThe summer worship schedule at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St., will begin Sunday, with worship at 10 a.m. and the Fellowship Hour at 11:05 a.m.The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper will be held during the 10 a.m. Sunday service.The annual church rummage and bake sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in Fellowship Hall.

FAITH U.P.A catered fellowship meal will be held after the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service at Faith United Presbyterian Church. Sunday school teachers will be honored during the service.

FIRST BAPTISTTeens from First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., are invited to a "school's out" party from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Alameda Park.The first of two work weeks is set for Monday-Saturday at Slippery Rock Baptist Camp, 130 Elliott Lane, Slippery Rock, Workers are needed for a variety of chores. Food will be provided.A year-end tureen dinner for the Women's Missionary Fellowship will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Baptist Youth Center. Each attendee is to bring a casserole or a salad. WMF officers will provide dessert. Place settings, rolls and beverages will be provided.

FIRST BAPTIST OF EVANS CITYMusician, sculptor and author Buddy Davis of Answers in Genesis will speak at the 9:45 a.m. Sunday school class at the First Baptist Church of Evans City, 242 S. Washington St., Evans City. He will also speak at the 6 p.m. Sunday service and at 7:15 p.m.

FIRST U.M.A summer barbecue will be held after the God's Country service Saturday at First United Methodist Church, 200 E. OLD UNION PRESBYThe annual church picnic at Old Union Presbyterian Church, 200 Union Church Road, Mars, will be held after worship this week. Dress casually for church, and bring a dish to share.
