2 p.m. Friday - Tammy Hassler of Butler reported a hit-and-run accident in which an unidentified vehicle struck her car parked on West Brady Street near the North Washington Street intersection. The entire left side of her vehicle was damaged.7:15 p.m. Wednesday - Richard Carr of Butler reported a hit-and-run accident in which an unidentified vehicle struck his car parked on Oak Street near East Fulton Street sometime between Tuesday and Wednesday. Carr's vehicle was dented on the rear driver's side.

12:59 a.m. Saturday - Walter Kim Potochny, 52, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence after committing several traffic violations on Route 422 by the Muddy Creek Township sewer plant.Friday - Susan Fluharty, 39, of Rochester was charged with felony theft, forgery and receiving stolen property after the owners of Rask Cycle Shop in Evans City reported thefts from the business dating back to 2003.Friday - Two juveniles were charged with November thefts totaling $350 from lockers at Karns City High School. The charges were referred to Butler Juvenile Probation.

Thursday - James Denelle, 79, reported the theft of about 65 feet of aluminum gutter and 100 feet of aluminum downspouting from his Centertown Road residence in Pine Township sometime between May 19 and 26.
