Howard and Norma Vensel of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with a family dinner at the J Barn Country Inn.

The former Norma Logan married Vensel on May 21, 1955 at the Second Presbyterian Church in Butler.

They have four children, Barbara Stewart of Rimersburg; Leonard Vensel and James Vensel, both of Chicora; and Glenn Vensel of Rockville, Md.

They also have six grandchildren.

Vensel retired from Penreco in Karns City after 38 years.

Mrs. Vensel retired from Magnetics in East Butler after 26 years.

The couple belongs to the First United Methodist Church and the BUCO Travel Trailer Club.
