John V. Zellerino

John V. Zellerino, 62, of Butler died Monday at UPMC Presbyterian

Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Born March 4, 1943, in Butler, he was a son of the late John and Geraldine Fend Zellerino.

He had worked at Armco-Butler Works as a truck driver for 33 years and retired in January 1999.

Mr. Zellerino was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of American Legion Post 117 in Butler.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid reader.

Surviving are his wife, Marlene M. Bayer Zellerino, whom he married Oct. 12, 1978; a son, Shawn V. Zellerino of Whittier, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Michael (Michelle) McGrady of Fenelton, Mrs. Patrick (Gina) Mohn of Karns City and Mrs. Jodi (Tanya) Ryan of Chicora; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Todd (Sharon) Warburton of Chicora; 13 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

He also is survived by five sisters, Mrs. Michael (Patricia) Davis of West Sunbury, Mrs. Jay (Sue) Sasse, Mrs. George (Alice) Spinneweber, Mrs. Thomas (Ruth Ann) Cook and Mrs. Mark (Judy) Hoffman, all of Butler.

A brother preceded him in death.

ZELLERINO - Friends of John V. Zellerino, who died Monday, April 18, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today atGEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Ginger DiTullio, lay minister, officiating.
