Margaret "Jean" Reed of Zelienople will celebrate her 80th birthday with an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Calvin United Presbyterian Church Hall, 415 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

The former Margaret Casey was born May 21, 1925, in West Mifflin. She married Thomas Reed on Aug. 25, 1951. He is deceased.

She has four children, Allan Reed of Renfrew; David Reed of Williamsfield, Ohio; Alice Johnson of Harmony; and John Reed of Callery. She also has three grandsons.

Mrs. Reed is a homemaker.

She is a life member of of Calvin Presbyterian Church, where she serves as a deacon.
