Scott Hawkinson, 42, of Sarasota, Fla., died Tuesday.

He was born Oct. 9, 1962, in Marion, Ind.

Mr. Hawkinson was a golf cart mechanic and moved to Sarasota from Butler seven years ago.

He is survived by his wife, Linda S. Hawkinson; a daughter, Alycen King of Indiana; his parents Robert and Carol King of Upland, Ind.; a sister, Michelle Moore of Upland; and a brother, John King of Ohio. Also surviving are four stepchildren, Shawn Hartzell, Schconda Sarver, Saylor Hartzell and Ronnie Kapsin, all of Butler; and six grandchildren.

HAWKINSON - There will be no visitation. Services for Scott Hawkinson, who died Tuesday, April 12, 2005, will be held at his parents' home in Upland.
