An Oct. 15 wedding is being planned by Jennie Spohn and Michael Ness, both of Butler.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Fred and Nora Spohn of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Dennis and Joanne Ness, also of Butler.

The bride-elect is a 1997 graduate of Butler High School and a 1998 graduate of the Wilma Boyd Career School. She works as an administrative assistant at Shields Asphalt Paving in Valencia.

Her fiancé graduated in 1990 from Knoch High School. He works as a superintendent and estimator with Commercial Asphalt Supply in Valencia.
