A July 2 wedding is being planned by Stephanie Lawrence and A.J. Werner, both of Butler.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Craig and Angela Lawrence of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Pat and Sharon Werner of Butler.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Butler High School; a 2003 graduate of Slippery Rock University, earning a degree in English and creative writing; and a 2004 graduate of the Butler Beauty School. She works for Local Motion Hair Design in Butler.

Her fiancé graduated in 1999 from Butler High School and in 2005 from the University of Pittsburgh, earning a bachelor of science degree in materials science and engineering. He works for Westmoreland Mechanical Testing and Research in Youngstown.
