GRADUATES

Melanie Shoup of Butler graduated with honors, receiving bachelor of science degrees in psychology and anthropology from the University of Pittsburgh.The daughter of Randy and Suzi Shoup of Butler, she is a 2001 graduate of Butler High School.Shoup is currently employed at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She has been accepted in the doctoral program at the State University of New York at Albany, where she plans to pursue a degree in biopsychology.

<b>Shanna Edwards</b> of Washington, D.C., recently graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree in international affairs from American University.While at the university, she also received the presidential scholarship.A 2001 graduate of Butler High School, she is the daughter of Dale and Terri Edwards of Fenelton.Edwards is currently employed at the Transecure International Security Firm. She plans to pursue a graduate degree in Middle Eastern studies at American University.

<b>Jennifer Krill</b> of Chicora graduated cum laude with a doctorate of pharmacy degree from the University of Pittsburgh.A 1999 graduate of Moniteau High School, she is the daughter of Harold and Amy Tenney of Slippery Rock.While at the university, she was named to the dean's scholar list and was a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta National Scholastic Honor Society.Krill is employed as a pharmacist with CVS in New Castle.

<b>Toby Park</b> graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh.While at the university, he was a member of the Men's Glee Club, the Honors College, Golden Key, Omicron Delta Kappa, the Deaf Awareness Society and Pitt Pathfinders.The son of Robert and Joan Park of Penn Township, he was a 2002 graduate of Knoch High School.

<b>Mark Coyle</b> graduated summa cum laude with a degree in business management from Slippery Rock University.While at the university, he was a co-recipient of the outstanding senior award and received the highest grade point average for business management.The son of the late Paul and Grace Coyle, he is a 1975 graduate of Butler High School and a 1991 graduate of Butler County Community College, where he received a degree in applied science.Coyle is employed at AK Steel. A father of two, he resides in Butler with his wife, Rhonda.

<b>Marguerite Tagg</b>, the daughter of Donald and JoAnn Tagg of Renfrew, graduated from Hope College with a degree in Japanese.

<b>Benjamin Mitchell</b> of Valencia graduated with a degree in business management from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.

<b>James Chvala</b> of Zelienople graduated with a bachelor of science degree in fire and safety engineering from the University of Cincinnati.

<b>Lauren Croyle</b> of Zelienople graduated with a bachelor's degree in music from the University of Cincinnati.

<b>Stephanie (Bernauer) Evers</b> graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Point Park University.She is the wife of Raymond Evers and daughter of Robert and Nancy Bernauer, all of Cranberry Township.
