WORTH TWP - District Judge Lawrence Silvis recently heard these cases:

Jerrod L. Wilson, 23, of Mars pleaded guilty to charges of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct by state police on Feb. 22 on Route 79 in Jackson Township, Mercer County. The charges of possession of marijuana and paraphernalia were withdrawn. Wilson was ordered to pay $471 in costs and fines.

Darnell C. Alston Jr., 33, of Brielle, N.J., had his case held for court. He was charged by state police with possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and conspiracy to manufacture or deliver on March 28 on Route 80 in Pine Township. A vehicle search resulted in finding four kilograms of cocaine valued at $68,000.

SLIPPERY ROCK - District Judge Clifford Woessner recently heard these cases:David B. Norcross, 22, of Grove City waived his case to court. He was charged by state police with burglary and theft by unlawful taking from Oct. 25 to Nov. 8 in Slippery Rock Township. Norcross stole a number of items from Kennedy's Diversified on Route 8 valued at more than $1,600.Matthew V. Neff, 19, of Chicora waived his case to court. He was charged by Slippery Rock University police with driving under the influence, underage drinking and driving the wrong direction on a one-way street on April 9 on Keister Road in Slippery Rock.Jeremy K. Schrock, 22, of Slippery Rock waived his case to court. He was charged by Slippery Rock University police with driving under the influence and failure to stop at a stop sign on April 8 at the intersection of Normal Avenue and Cooper Street.Gary D. Hogg, 47, of Slippery Rock had his case held for court. He was charged by Slippery Rock University police with disorderly conduct, exceeding the speed limit in an urban area and careless driving on April 16 on Keister Road, Slippery Rock.Grace E. Koutsouflakis, 22, of Slippery Rock waived her case to court. She was charged by state police with driving under the influence, disregard for a traffic lane and driving at an unsafe speed on April 30 on Crestview Road, Slippery Rock Township.
