11:56 p.m. Tuesday - James F. Cunningham, 23, of Zelienople was arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop on North Washington Street. Cunningham, a passenger in the car, was allegedly found with several packages of suspected cocaine.Cunningham was arraigned on charges of possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance. He remains in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bond.12:25 a.m. Monday - Three Butler residents were arrested for allegedly stealing a case of beer from a delivery truck parked outside a bar at Locust and Monroe streets. An off-duty trooper spotted the suspected theft and watched the trio carry the beer into a nearby home.Charged with theft from a motor vehicle and conspiracy are Mario Robinson, 23; Calvin Jones Jr., 19; and a girl, whom police did not identify.Meanwhile, Anthony Bledsoe, 33, of Butler was arrested after he was seen leaving the house. He gave officers a false name when questioned, and is charged with false identification to law enforcement authorities. Police later learned Bledsoe was wanted on a warrant. He was jailed and later released after posting bail.
2:02 a.m. Thursday - William Barbary, 26, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Hindman Road. He was also cited for careless driving.
8:18 a.m. Thursday - A Butler County man was injured when a tractor-trailer struck the rear of the dump truck he was driving on Interstate 79 at the Route 488 exit ramp in Muddy Creek Township.Michael McHale, 37, of Portersville was flown by medical helicopter with a head injury to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. His condition was not known this morning.Donald Hall, 42, of Freeport, Ill., the driver of the tractor-trailer, was cited for careless driving and following too close to another vehicle. Police said both drivers were wearing seat belts.11 a.m. May 3 - An unknown man stole several pieces of scrap at a Brewer Road scrap yard in Clinton Township.
