2:30 p.m. Wednesday - A van driven by Scott Frank, 42, of Mars and a street sweeper truck driven by Jarrod Schrecengost, 21, of Petrolia collided at Route 228 West and Davis Road. Schrecengost's truck, after the collision, traveled over a hillside. The crash closed the road for about an hour.
4:41 a.m. today - Bradley Beachem, 34, of Ellwood City, Lawrence County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Interstate 79 in Lancaster Township.2:55 a.m. today - Jacklyn Stine, 41, of Harrisville was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Route 8 and Branchton Road in Slippery Rock Township.Wednesday - Two Homelite chainsaws, a power saw and other hand tools were taken from an unlocked garage at the West Park Road home of Richard Devore in Muddy Creek Township. The burglary occurred between 10 p.m. Tuesday and early Wednesday morning. The stolen property is valued at $425.Wednesday - A Husqvarna chainsaw, valued at $300, was taken overnight from the bed of a pickup truck parked at the West Park Road home of Scott Pearce in Muddy Creek Township.6:18 p.m. Tuesday - A pickup truck driven by Marjorie Thomas, no age given, of Kittanning and a car driven by Stephanie Burgard, no age given, of Portersville collided on Route 68 in front of Elite Auto Sales in Forward Township.Thomas' pickup jumped the curb and struck two sport utility vehicles parked at the car lot. Burgard, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.Tuesday - A burgundy 1989 Dodge Colt was taken from an open garage at the West Washington Street home of Erica Semple in Harrisville. The car was allegedly stolen between 8 and 9:30 p.m.Tuesday - A purse was taken between 7 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. from a car at the Pittsburgh Plastics parking lot on Kriess Road in Connoquenessing Township. Pamela Bureau of Worthington, Armstrong County, owns the purse.10:45 p.m. Monday - Christopher Kennedy, 35, of Clarion was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his car struck a wooden fence along Browns Mill Road in Forward Township.7 a.m. Monday - A pickup truck driven by a 16-year-old, who police did not identify, struck a utility pole and rolled over once, landing on its wheels, along Alwine Road in Jefferson Township.Monday - A cow was reported stolen Sunday or Monday from a field at Troutman and Cartwright roads in Concord Township. Kenneth Tejchman of Chicora owns the 2,000-pound Hereford/Charolais.2:30 a.m. Saturday - A pickup truck driven by Eric Huba, no age given, of Butler struck several trees along Chicora-Fenelton Road in Donegal Township. Huba fled the scene after the crash but was later found and cited for failing to notify police about an accident and failing to stay in his lane of traffic.May 3 - A red, 1989 Pontiac Grand Am was reportedly stolen between April 30 and May 3 at the Lighthouse Bar parking lot on New Castle Road in Franklin Township. The car's Pennsylvania license plate is FBR3150. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call the barracks at 724-284-8100. William Paul of Slippery Rock owns the car.May 2 - An Xbox game system was reported taken in a burglary between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the Elmwood Road home of Michael Trinkley in Clay Township.
