Elizabeth Whyte, formerly of Parker, and Bryan Chandler, both of Caldwell, Ohio, exchanged wedding vows at 6 p.m. April 14 in a civil ceremony at the Moon Palace Resort in Cancun, Mexico. Following their return from Cancun, a reception was held at Yogis Reception Hall in Cambridge, Ohio.

The bride is the daughter of Jay and Diane Whyte of Parker. Parents of the bridegroom are Bill and Cheryl Chandler of Caldwell.

The bride graduated in 1997 from Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School, in 1999 from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and in 2000 from Point Park University. She works as a pharmaceutical salesperson for Eli Lilly in Indianapolis, Ind.

The bridegroom graduated in 1996 from Caldwell High School, in 1999 from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and in 2000 from Point Park University. He is the owner and operator of Chandler Funeral Home in Caldwell.

The couple is making their home in Caldwell.
