Joan S. Salapa

Joan S. Salapa, 68, of Renfrew and formerly of Munhall died Wednesday at home.

Born April 9, 1936, in Munhall, Allegheny County, she was the daughter of Michael and Susan Tomko Demchsin.

Mrs. Salapa was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and baking, especially for weddings, showers and special occasions.

She was a member of the CrossWay Church of Valencia.

She is survived by her husband, Albert Salapa, whom she married Oct. 27, 1956.

Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Daniel (Pamela) Rusch of Munhall and Mrs. Thomas (Nadine) Napierkowski of Middlesex Township; her twin brother, Gene Demchsin of Monroeville, and five grandchildren.

<b>SALAPA</b> - A memorial service for Joan S. Salapa, who died Wednesday, April 6, 2005, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 23 at the CrossWay Church, 109 Davis Road, Valencia. The Rev. Pat Summers, her pastor, will officiateArrangements are being made by the McDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.
