Butler Leaders of Tomorrow
Butler Leaders of Tomorrow is a program that shines the spotlight on Butler County’s youth.
Sponsored by Sprint and the Butler Eagle, this program honors youth in grades seven to 12 who are setting good examples of leadership through community volunteerism, academic success and extracurricular activities.
Any young person may be nominated. This year, the program’s third, more than 120 students were nominated.
A committee of six community leaders reviewed the nomination forms and selected 10 top nominees to be honored by Sprint with a trophy and $100 each. Nine will be named finalists, while one will be selected as the Butler Leader of Tomorrow. That youth will receive a trophy and $1,000 from Sprint.
All students nominated and their parents have been invited to a dinner and awards program on May 10 at Butler County Community College. The top honorees will be announced then.
