6:47 p.m. Wednesday - Renee Gilson, 23, of Portersville was arrested for allegedly assaulting her husband, Nathan Gilson, 27, at a Robbie Way home in Muddy Creek Township. Renee Gilson is charged with simple assault and harassment.2 a.m. Wednesday - An unidentified vehicle struck a mailbox along Route 108 in Worth Township, and did not stop. Floyd Allison of Slippery Rock owns the mailbox.6:50 a.m. Tuesday - A car driven by Brandi Dietrich, 19, of Butler and a pickup truck driven by Julio Lopez-Mendoza collided at Route 228 near Tower Road in Clinton Township. Both drivers, wearing seat belts, suffered minor injuries.3:45 a.m. Tuesday - A car driven by Harry Herko Jr., 28, of Butler struck a utility pole at Neupert and Winfield roads in Jefferson Township. Police said Herko, who was wearing a seat belt and suffered minor injuries, fled after the crash.Monday - A pair of 24-foot aluminum ladders and four metal braces were taken between 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Monday from the home of Michael Schoedel on Tiger Road in Connoquenessing Township.5:45 p.m. Sunday - Cars driven by Robin Sewell, 18, of Pittsburgh and Richard Tiche, 70, of Mercer collided at Route 173 and Kiester Road in Slippery Rock. Sewell was cited for a left turn violation and driving without a license.10:30 p.m. Saturday - A pickup truck driven by Barry Covalt, 44, of Saxonburg struck a gas meter and several trees along Ekastown Road in Clinton Township. Police said Covalt drove off after the crash,April 21 - Undisclosed vehicle parts were taken between 8 p.m. April 20 and 6:45 a.m. April 21 from two pickup trucks on North Main Street Extension in Center TownshipApril 21 - Three dozen 10-inch cement blocks and 5½ dozen 8-inch cement blocks were taken from a storage building on Fisher Road in Worth Township. The cement blocks owned by J.J. Kennedy Inc., no address given, were stacked on pallets outside the building. The thefts occurred between April 10 and 21.April 19 - Richard Pease said $6,600 in property was taken in a theft at his Heller Road home in Jefferson Township. Reported stolen was a gold ring, antique coins and a gym/exercise system.

Noon Wednesday - Michael Baptist, 22, of Butler said someone fired three gunshots at his Ford Explorer parked on Old State Road at Millcreek Creek on State Gamelands in Millcreek Township, Clarion County.Baptist said he was fishing when he heard three gunshots coming from where he had parked his vehicle. He returned to his Explorer and found three bullets holes in it.
