Heichel, Horvath
Christina Heichel and David Horvath, both of Greenville, S.C., were united in marriage at 4 p.m. Oct. 16 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Butler. The Rev. Curtis McDaniel officiated. The newlyweds greeted guests during a reception at the Butler Country Club.
The bride is the daughter of Ray and Judy Heichel of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Bob and Judy Horvath of New Kensington.
The honor attendant was Brandi Baughman of Butler. Bridesmaids were Elycia Fischer and Kim Harrison, both of Butler, and Jaime Speelman of Charlotte, N.C.
Serving the bridegroom as best man was Gary Matassa of Cabot. Ushers were Chad Heichel of Butler; Mark Horvath of New Castle, Del.; and Jake Kish of Easton.
The bride graduated in 1993 from Butler High School, and attended Clarion University and Butler County Community College. She is a flight attendant with USAirways, based in Charlotte.
The bridegroom graduated in 1992 from Burrell High School and in 1996 from Penn State University, where he majored in engineering science. He is pursuing a master's degree in business administration at Xavier University. He works as a design engineer for GE Energy in Greenville.
Following a honeymoon in Maui, the couple is making their home in Greenville.
