Lillian E. Wain
Lillian E. Wain, 77, of Cranberry Township died Friday at UPMC Passavant hospital, McCandless Township.
Born March 13, 1928, in Cranberry Township, she was the daughter of Edward G. and Nina M. Ramsey Meeder.
Mrs. Wain was a member of St. Peter's Reformed Church of Zelienople, where she was a Sunday school teacher. She also was a member of the Cranberry Historical Society.
She is survived by a son, Richard E. Wain of Cranberry Township; two sisters, Jeannette G. Meeder and Nina M. Kraynik and her husband, John, all of Cranberry Township; and a granddaughter, Nicole. Also surviving are a brother-in-law, Charles Wain of Wexford; two sisters-in-law, Evelyn Rapp and her husband, William, of Alabama and Sylvia Lachimia and her husband, Frank, of Wexford; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred "Dick" Wain, who died March 23, 1999; and three brothers, Chester, Glenn and Laird Meeder.
WAIN - Friends of Lillian E. Wain, who died Friday, March 18, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peter's Reformed Church, 320 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, with the Rev. James Bertoti officiating. Everyone is to meet at the church.
