SAXONBURG - District Judge Sue Haggerty recently heard these cases:
Victoria Burkett, 41, of Connoquenessing Township pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia, stemming from a charge filed Feb. 2 by Penn Township police. She was ordered to pay $354.50 in fines and court costs.
Colleen Hawryliak, 43, of Penn Township pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia stemming from a charge filed Feb. 2 by Penn Township police. She was ordered to pay $354.50 in fines and court costs.
Robert Kennedy, 33, of Templeton, Armstrong County, waived to court charges of driving under the influence and failure to use turn signals, filed Feb. 13 by Buffalo Township police.
Janette King, 46, of Freeport, Armstrong County, was held for court on charges of defiant trespass, disorderly conduct, harassment, criminal mischief and public drunkenness, filed April 14 by Buffalo Township police.
John Krauland Jr., 20, of Jefferson Township pleaded guilty to false reports to law enforcement authorities, stemming from a charged filed March 7 by state police. He was ordered to pay $229.50 in fines and court costs.
Jason Steighner, 23, of Penn Township waived to court charges of accidents involving death or personal injury. Driving without insurance, a stop sign violation, careless driving and failure to give information and render aid following an accident, filed Nov. 1 by state police.
John Volk, 51, of Freeport, Armstrong County, waived to court charges of driving under the influence and public drunkenness, filed Feb. 19 by Buffalo Township police.
Bradley Waller, 22, of Butler pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance, stemming from a charge filed Jan. 21 by Middlesex Township police. He was ordered to pay $329.50 in fines and court costs.
Norma Whittingdon, 59, of Clinton Township waived to court a charge of driving under the influence, filed Nov. 8 by Middlesex Township police.
SLIPPERY ROCK - District Judge Clifford Woessner recently heard these cases:Kevin Wells, 18, of Pittsburgh waived his case to court. He was charged by Slippery Rock University police with driving under the influence, failure to stop at a stop sign and underage drinking on Feb. 20 at the Central Loop on the SRU campus.Matthew J. Messer, 20, of Slippery Rock had his case held for court. He was charged by Slippery Rock University police with driving under the influence, underage drinking and careless driving at the Old Stone House parking lot March 18.Jonathan R. Denault, 26, of Slippery Rock had his case held for court. He was charged by Slippery Rock University police with driving under the influence at McKay lot on the SRU campus March 18.Todd A. Hatten, 19, of Enola, Cumberland County, waived his case to court. He was charged by Slippery Rock University police with possession of a small amount of marijuana at Founders Hall on March 22.Neil E. Trask III, 27, of South East Palm Beach, Fla., waived his case to court. He was charged by state police with endangering the welfare of a child, driving under the influence, speeding, reckless driving and failure to use a safety belt system on April 7 on Interstate 79 in Worth Township. Trask was driving with a 2-year-old child in his vehicle at the time of the traffic stop.
CRANBERRY TWP - District Judge Kelley Streib recently heard these cases:Joseph N. Nakoa, 60, of Cranberry Township waived his case to court. He was charged March 8 by the Cranberry Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol, careless driving and vehicle failing to yield while turning left.Matthew Joseph Rosenbalm, 28, of Beaver, Beaver County, had his case held for court. He was charged March 8 by the Cranberry Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol, careless driving and disregard of traffic lane.David Matthew Horning, 24, of Cranberry Township waived his case to court. He was charged March 22 by the Cranberry Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol.Tomi Lynn Eck, 18, of Evans City waived her case to court. She was charged Feb. 28 by the Cranberry Township police with possession of a controlled substance and use/possession of drug paraphernalia.Marion L. Donaldson, 61, of Zelienople waived her case to court. She was charged March 9 by the Cranberry Township police with accidents involving damage to attended vehicle, operating a vehicle without insurance and improperly backing a vehicle.Chris L. Kornicki, 21, of Wexford, Allegheny County, had his case held for court. He was charged March 22 by the Cranberry Township police with driving under the influence, turning movements and required signals, possession of marijuana and use/possession of drug paraphernalia.
EVANS CITY - District Judge Wayne Seibel recently heard these cases:Kenneth Charles Albert, 49, of Portersville waived his case to court. He was charged Feb. 16 by Jackson Township police with driving under the influence, habitual offender, driving with a suspended license, speeding and failure to keep right.James Alfred Yingling, Jr., 29, of Lower Burrell, Allegheny County, waived his case to court. He was charged March 4 by the Zelienople police with driving under the influence and disregard of traffic lane.Brian Pastoria, 22, of Freeport, Armstrong County, waived his case to court. He was charged April 8 by the Adams Township police with theft and receiving stolen property.Sherri Leigh Taylor, 28, of Cranberry Township waived her case to court. She was charged March 15 by the Jackson Township police with driving under the influence.
