Tyrone G. Galvan

Tyrone G. Galvan, 64, of Colonial Gardens Personal Care Home in Penn Township, formerly of Apollo, died Thursday at Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born May 21, 1940, in Akron, Ohio, he was the son of Burt "Red" and Rose Schmidt Galvan.

He was retired from Heckett Engineering in Brackenridge.

An avid, lifelong Cleveland Browns fan, he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his dog, Murphy.

A veteran of the Air Force, he served in the Vietnam War.

Mr. Galvan was also a member of the American Legion and VFW.

Surviving are his son, Kenneth Galvan and his wife, Amanda, of Butler; a daughter, Kathy Logan of Lower Burrell; and three grandchildren, Colton Logan, Clinton Logan and Clayton Logan, all of Lower Burrell.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Betty Galvan.

GALVAN - Funeral services for Tyrone G. Galvan, who died Thursday, March 17, 2005, will be private. Arrangements are byTHOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME.Memorial donations may be made to the Butler County Humane Society, 1027 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053.
