Shannon Crawford and Ryan English, both of Butler were united in marriage at 4 p.m. June 19 at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Butler. The Rev. Harry Bielewicz officiated. The newlyweds greeted guests during a reception at the Days Inn in Butler.

The bride is the daughter of Tom and Julie Crawford of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are William and Maureen English of Butler.

The honor attendant was Rachelle Olenic of Philadelphia. Bridesmaids were Amanda Wachtel, Melissa Criley, Crystal Davis and Vicky Ames, all of Butler, and Angela Rathfon of Pittsburgh. The junior bridesmaid was Amanda Wolfe of Butler. The flower girl was Gillian Clark of Woodbridge, Va.

Performing the duties of best man was Aaron Vicari of Butler. Groomsmen were Jordan English and Matt Crawford, both of Butler; Matt Grabowski of Chicago; Barry Osche of East Butler; and Ian Brooks of Orlando, Fla. The ring bearer was Trai Kish of Butler.

The bride graduated in 1997 from Butler High School and in 2001 from the University of Pittsburgh. She works for certified public accountants Habenicht, Novak and McCarren of Butler.

The bridegroom graduated in 1997 from BHS and in 2001 from Penn State University. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He works for U.S. Investigations Services in Boyers.

After a honeymoon in Rivera Maya, Mexico, the couple is living in Butler.
