A July 16 wedding is being planned by Christie Doughty of Harmony and Robert Pierce of Ridgway.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Charles and Linda Doughty of Butler. Father of the prospective bridegroom is Robert Pierce of Ridgway.

The bride-elect graduated in 1994 from Knoch High School. She is a business development manager for FireDEX of Butler.

Her fiancé graduated in 1984 from Ridgway High School and in 1991 from Penn State University, earning a bachelor's degree. He is a product manager for Cannon USA.
