CRANBERRY TWP - District Judge Kelley Streib recently heard these cases:
Brian D. Hinckley, 25, of Baden, Beaver County, waived his case to court. He was charged March 4 by Cranberry Township police with two counts of possession of child pornography, two counts of sexual photograph/film/depiction on computer under the age of 18, two counts of loitering and prowling at night and two counts of invasion of privacy.
William Mellish, 33, of East Butler waived his case to court. He was charged Feb. 15 by the Cranberry Township police with use/possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under the influence of a controlled substance.
William F. McLean, 25, of Pittsburgh waived his case to court. He was charged March 8 by the Cranberry Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a suspended license.
Raymond Churilla, 39, of Seven Fields waived his case to court. He was charged March 23 by the Cranberry Township police with attempted acquisition or obtaining possession of a controlled substance.
Robert J. Gongloff, 39, of Ellwood City, Lawrence County, waived his case to court. He was charged April 6 by the Cranberry Township police with 14 counts of forgery, 14 counts of receiving stolen property and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
WORTH TWP - District Judge Lawrence Silvis recently heard these cases:Joshua L. Dunn, 19, of Slippery Rock had his case held for court. He was charged by state police with burglary, criminal trespassing, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief in Millcreek Township, Mercer County, on March 20. Dunn is accused of stealing high-performance mufflers from a garage.Barbara S. Strange, 61, of Grove City had her case held for court. She was charged by the Mercer County District Attorney's Office with writing bad checks on March 22. Strange is accused of writing a check totaling $5,000 to a Mercer County resident from an account at National City Bank in Pittsburgh.Timothy L. Randolph, 32, of Grove City had his case held for court. He was charged by the Mercer County District Attorney's Office with writing bad checks on March 21. The charge stems from a Dec. 28 incident when Randolph allegedly wrote a check totaling $4,414 to Lezzer Lumber in Pine Township.Brian K. Rauch, 31, of Grove City pleaded guilty. He was charged by Grove City Borough Police with aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangerment, harassment and disorderly conduct on March 28. The charges stem from an incident when Rauch assaulted a female victim near Elm Street in Grove City. Rauch was ordered to pay $744 in costs and fines.
