Final registration for Butler Area Midget Cheerleading will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Midget Football Building in Memorial Park for participants in second through eighth grades.
The squads are East Butler, South Butler, Center Township, East Side, Meridian and Penn Street.

Guzzlers Mixed Bowling League will hold its annual banquet Saturday at the East Butler Fire Hall.Refreshments will be served at 5 p.m., dinner at 6.
The Seneca Valley boys volleyball program is hosting the fourth annual Seneca Valley Invitational April 30 with 30 teams competing.The tourney will begin with pool play at 8:30 a.m. at the intermediate high and middle school gyms. Playoffs begin at about 2:30 p.m.Refreshments will be available and donations for admission will be accepted at the door.
The sixth annual BC3 on 3 basketball tournament will be held April 30 at Butler County Community College.Age divisions for male and females include grades four and five, six and seven, eight and nine, 10 through 12 and out of high school. The second annual Slippery Rock University Therapeutic Recreation Club Benefit Golf Scramble has a 7 a.m. shotgun start April 23 at Green Meadows Golf Course in Volant.The $60 entry fee includes 18 holes of golf, cart, breakfast and awards luncheon. There will be an AAU Youth Powerlifting Meet May 7 in Clarion.The meet is open to all boys and girls through age 19 with arrangements for lifters ages 20 to 23 to be guest lifters in preparation for the Juniors division of the Junior Olympics.The Clarion meet will be a full meet (squat, bench press and deadlift). County champions will be named for all Pennsylvania counties west and southwest of Potter County.
