William and Virginia Mills of Harlingen, Texas, celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner and reception at the Sunshine Country Club Estates in Harlingen.

The former Virginia Tucci married Mills on April 6, 1955 at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

They have two children, David Mills of Seguin, Texas and Tracy Mussey of Dripping Springs, Texas. They also have a grandchild.

Mills is retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company.

Mrs. Mills is retired from the Valley Baptist Medical Center.

The couple belongs to Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
